drying time (23 °C, 50 % RH): dust-free after 1 hour. recoating is possible only after the first coat has completely dried (~2–4 hours), depending on the substrate, air temperature and humidity.
surface preparation: the surface must be stable, dry and clean.
unpainted surfaces: remove dust, dirt, grease and salts. prime porous and highly absorbent surfaces with deep penetrating primer Igis AG. level uneven areas and cracks with a suitable IGIS filler, sand and remove dust. for best results, prime the filled surface with Taktika B primer before painting.
previously painted surfaces: remove loose and flaking paint. wash contaminated surfaces with soapy water or a 3 % soda solution, then rinse with clean water. sand glossy painted surfaces and remove dust to improve adhesion. clean mould- or fungus-affected surfaces with a mould remover. fill cracks and uneven areas with IGIS filler, sand the filled surface and remove dust. prime repaired areas before painting.

service life: the paint film reaches full strength after 28 days and can then be cleaned. clean dirty painted surfaces with lukewarm water and a soft cloth or sponge. hot water may soften the paint film. mild alkaline cleaning agents (pH 6–8) are recommended. do not use cleaners containing organic solvents. do not use abrasive cleaning tools such as rough sponges or brushes.
